How far is Wailea Ekolu Village from the beach?
Wailea Ekolu Village is located just minutes from Wailea Beach, one of Maui’s most famous white-sand beaches known for swimming, snorkeling, and stunning sunsets. The beach is approximately a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute scenic walk from the resort.

Are there any other Wailea beaches near the resort?
Yes! In addition to Wailea Beach, guests can explore several nearby beaches, including:
- Polo Beach: About 1 mile away, a serene and less crowded beach ideal for relaxation and sunbathing.
- Ulua Beach: Roughly 0.7 miles away, a snorkeler’s paradise with crystal-clear waters and an abundance of tropical fish and sea turtles.
- Mokapu Beach: About 0.7 miles away, a picturesque golden-sand beach with calm waters, perfect for paddleboarding and swimming.
- Keawakapu Beach: Approximately 1.5 miles away, a long, sandy shoreline great for sunset walks and morning jogs.

Does the resort provide beach chairs or rentals?
Each of our Wailea vacation rental condos will be equipped with beach chairs you can take with you to the beach. However, if you would like additional chairs or beach equipment, you can rent them from local vendors or through our concierge services. We’ll be happy to help you make arrangements.

Yes! Our spacious accommodations, fully equipped kitchens, and scenic outdoor spaces make us an ideal choice for families seeking a comfortable and relaxing Maui vacation rental.

Is Wailea Ekolu Village accessible for guests with mobility needs?
While our residences are designed for comfort, many units require stair access. Please contact our reservations team to discuss accessibility options before booking.
Check-In & Check-Out

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is available after 4:00 PM, and check-out is required by 11:00 AM. If you need early check-in or late check-out, please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

What is the check-in process?
Before arrival, you will receive a detailed confirmation email with check-in instructions. Upon arrival, all guests can check in at our Island Host Center located at 34 Wailea Gateway Place, Wailea, HI 96753. Our office is open daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you arrive after 9:00pm, head to the Island Host Center and look for our posted after-hours instructions.

Is a security deposit required?
One night refundable deposit, inclusive of tax, will be charged at the time of booking.
Cancellation Terms

What are the cancellation terms?
- Travel Dates 1/5/25-12/18/25: 7 days or more notification prior to arrival, one-night deposit will be refunded.
- Travel Dates 1/5/25-12/18/25: Less than 7 days notification prior to arrival, full reservation value will be forfeited/no refunds.
- Travel Dates 1/5/26-12/18/26: 30 days or more notification prior to arrival, one-night deposit will be refunded.
- Travel Dates 1/5/25-12/18/25: Less than 30 days notification prior to arrival, full reservation value will be forfeited/no refunds.
- For Christmas/New Year’s Period (12/19/25-1/4/26):
- Cancellation 60 days or more prior to arrival: 50% deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellation within 60 days of arrival: Full forfeiture of reservation value, no refunds.

Does Wailea Ekolu Village have on-site restaurants?
Wailea Ekolu Village does not feature on-site restaurants. However, each residence includes a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Additionally, the resort offers communal barbecue areas for outdoor cooking. For dining out, a variety of restaurants are located nearby, including those at The Shops at Wailea, Wailea Village, Wailea Gateway Center and other local venues.

Are there wellness facilities available on the property?
While Wailea Ekolu Village does not have an on-site spa or fitness center, guests can access wellness services at nearby Wailea resorts. Some packages may include credits for dining and spa services at these neighboring establishments.

Housekeeping & Maintenance

What is included in the housekeeping service?
Before your arrival, our team ensures your residence is thoroughly cleaned using industry-leading techniques and products. For stays of five to nine nights, we provide a complimentary mid-stay cleaning on the third or fourth day. For stays of ten nights or longer, guests receive two complimentary mid-stay cleanings every three to four days, which include:
- Change of bed linens
- Replacement of soiled bathroom towels
- Restocking and cleaning of bathrooms
- Cleaning kitchen and dishwasher load
- Trash removal
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting furniture and cleaning tabletops
- Vacuuming entire residence
- Cleaning lanai tabletops and floors
